Teachers
Ms Emma Salt BA (Hons)
Before transferring to Longridge School in September 2021, I worked for 15 years, at New Reflexions' Henslow and Evolution School, an SEMH provision, teaching secondary Computing, Computer Science and Art and as Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator
The field of Special Educational Needs and Learning Disabilities is of a particular interest to me. I have received extensive attachment training and more recently completed my Level 4 Makaton training to support learners with communication difficulties.
I resolutely advocate that learning differences will not define our students nor limit their opportunities to experience success.
Mrs Claire Teece
Prior to joining Longridge School, I have worked in a variety of schools for the last 12 years, teaching all primary classes before specialising in EYFS and SEN around 8 years ago. I strongly believe in building a positive and nurturing learning environment for my students.
Mrs Claire Blakemore
I have worked in education for nearly 20 years across a range of settings. I have a strong belief that every child has the right to learn and thrive and this drives my passion for working in Special Educational Needs. In my free time, I like to walk my three crazy dogs.
