OFSTED
The original secondary school, called the Evolution Centre, was first set up in 2008. A decision was then taken to expand and, following the successful application for a material change, The Henslow and Evolution School was created (DFE 893/6107). The Evolution School is based on the original Bicton site and usually accommodates Key Stage 1 and 2 children and The Henslow School, still in Shrewsbury, covers Key Stage 3 and 4.
In January 2023, the school had its first Ofsted as a through school (although the secondary had four inspections before this). The school received an overall rating as Good but with Outstanding for Behaviour and Attitudes and Personal Development. The full report is available online, by clicking on the link below.
