The school day starts at 9.30am to allow for students living in care homes to welcome their care staff for the day and then set out to school. The day finishes by 3.15pm with a story time as the last activity of the day.

The school day consists of a literacy and numeracy focussed morning and then topic based activities in the afternoons as well as sensory sessions and PE lessons. Students have two short breaks and a lunch break during the day with staff on hand to support their social skills and interaction. Some students access off site activities such as outdoor education and a farm placement.
